Brāhmanaspati

the lord/ leader of the brāhmaņa(s);
lord of rituals, sacrifices, prayer and devotion;
a deity of the Vedas, who is the personification of piety, religion, wisdom and eloquence, and the chief 'offerer of prayers and sacrifices to the gods', with whom he intercedes on behalf of humankind (Ŗg Veda); in post-Vedic Hinduism, he is identified with Bŗhaspati, the regent of the planet Jupiter and the preceptor and priest of the gods.
