Juhu

Juhu literally means ‘sacrificial spoon’.
Juhu is one of the spoons used to pour oblations into the consecrated fire in a Vedic sacrifice. The juhu is made of the palāśa wood[1] and has a cup-shaped bowl at the end. It is held in the right hand.
All ajya offerings of ghee are to be done with the juhu. It can also be used when no other implement is mentioned for pouring the offerings.
