Talātala

Talātala is the fourth of the nether worlds. Maya, the chief engineer and architect of the demons, lives here. He is protected by Śiva himself. Terrible serpents known as the Krodhavaśa also live here. The more well-known among them are Kuhaka, Takṣaka, Kāliya and Suṣeṇa.
