Sadananda

The Vedāntasāra is an extremely popular elementary textbook of Advaita Vedanta. Sadānanda is its reputed author. He might have lived in the 15th or 16th centuries.

Not much is known of him. Nṛsirnha Sarasvatī, the author of the commentary Subodhinī on the Vedāntasāra, was a disciple of Sadānanda’s disciple.
