Sometimes transliterated as: Laghu Visnusmrti, Laghu ViSNusmrti, Laghu Vishnusmrti

Laghu Viṣṇusmrti is a late work of the dharmaśāstra literature. It has five chapters and 114 verses. It deals mainly with:

  1. Four varṇas
  2. Four āśramas

Though Aparārka (12th century A. D.) has quoted a few verses from a Laghu Visnusmrti in his commentary on the Yājñavalkyasmrti, those verses are not found in the printed texts which are available now.
